Awaken: Mycelial Muse – May 2027
May 23 - 29, 2027
Seven days of guided ceremony, embodiment, nature, and integration in the Costa Rican Jungle.
High-Level Program Overview
Awaken: Mycelial Muse is an invitation for Queer and Gay Men to remember who you truly are: whole, wise, and powerful. Held in Qasa’s private jungle sanctuary, the experience weaves ancient wisdom with modern care and brings together guided ceremony, embodiment, nature, reflection, and integration to support deeper listening, clearer perspective, and a renewed connection to yourself and community.
Who It’s For & Why People Come
This retreat may be a fit if you want to:
- Explore sacred plant work in a queer-centered, carefully facilitated setting.
- Slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with what feels true.
- Move beyond patterns and stories that no longer fit.
- Experience embodiment, creativity, reflection, and queer joy.
- Be part of a community where no performance is required.
- Meet the experience with preparation, curiosity, and respect for your own pace.

WhAT TO EXPECT
The Experience: Night settles over the jungle. A fire glows, music moves through the temple, and the pace becomes quieter. You are invited into guided ceremony with preparation, clear agreements, and room to follow your own rhythm. Some moments may feel inward and still; others may open into music, laughter, or connection. Nothing is forced. You can rest, observe, and move at the pace that feels right.
The days around ceremony unfold through movement, breath, nature, reflection, and integration. Waterfalls cool the body. Shared meals bring the group back together. The intention is not to chase a peak experience, but to listen closely and carry what matters into everyday life.
